<dc:title>ASSESSING THE INFLUENCING FACTOR OF ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION: CASE STUDY IN TAIKKYI TOWNSHIP</dc:title>
          <dc:creator>Ma Aye Nandar Kyaw</dc:creator>
<dc:description>This study assesses the influencing factors of alcohol consumption in socioeconomics in Taikkyi Township, Myanmar. The objectives of the study are to examine the characteristics of household that consume alcohol and to analyze the factors influencing alcohol consumption on communities in Taikkyi Township. Both primary and secondary data were used in this study. The survey was conducted with 120 households using a simple random sampling method through a structured questionnaire employing a five-point Likert scale. The relationship between the independent variables and the dependent variable was analyzed using descriptive statistics and multiple regression methods. The findings reveal that alcohol consumption in Taikkyi Township contributes to a range of health challenges, including chronic diseases, mental health issues, and alcohol-related injuries. The social impacts include weakened family relationships, increased domestic violence, and diminished community cohesion. Economically, households face strained budgets, reduced workplace productivity, and long-term financial instability. Educationally, children from alcohol-affected households exhibit lower academic achievement expectations, higher dropout risks, and reduced parental involvement in their children’s education.</dc:description>
