A Study on Sericulture Farming in Pyin Oo Lwin Township ( Eaint Thiri Kyaw, 2024) Eaint Thiri Kyaw Sericulture has been an important part of Myanmar's social and economic development for hundreds of years, contributing particularly to both incomes and the national economy. Sericulture's long-term sustainability is important in terms of economic resilience and potential for agricultural diversification. The respondents were in seven villages of Pyin Oo Lwin Township, consisting of 90 sericulture producers chosen by random sampling. The results show that sericulture can increase agricultural profitability by providing farmers with a variety of revenue sources. However, it also highlights the need to enhance farmers' comprehension of crucial areas such as technical knowledge, efficient resource utilization, infrastructure development, pest control, and sustainable agricultural methods. The results suggest that sericulture farmers would benefit from modern techniques and knowledge to increase farm productivity, alongside improved access to resources and infrastructure. 2024-10-01 https://meral.edu.mm/records/10612
