A Study on Benefits of Crime Prevention in Nay Pyi Taw ( Case Study: Zabuthiri Township) ( Aung Myint Myat, 2024) Aung Myint Myat This study emphasizes the benefits of crime prevention in Zabuthiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw. The objectives of the study are to investigate the knowledge and awareness of people about crime prevention and examine their perceptions about the benefits of crime prevention in Zabuthiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw. The study uses a descriptive method based on primary and secondary data. Primary data is obtained from a survey conducted on a sample of 400 households in Zabuthiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw, with a structured questionnaire. The study examines crime prevention in Zabuthiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw, focusing on the knowledge, awareness, and perceptions of 400 households. Respondents demonstrate positive knowledge and awareness about crime prevention. It is also found that key areas of importance are crime reporting, community policing, and public safety. It is suggested educational campaigns, community engagement, digital information dissemination, and law enforcement collaboration.
