          <dc:description>This study analyses the on mobile phone usage and its consequences on youth in Nay Pyi Taw, Myanmar. The objectives of this study are to explore the mobile phone usage and to understand all the positive and negative consequences of mobile phones on the youths between the age of 15 and 24. To achieve this objectives, a descriptive method is used. Primary data is collected by survey questionnaire to the youths who use mobile phones in Nay Pyi Taw. The mostly used application is Facebook. MPT is the most chosen service provider. Regarding the positive and negative consequences of mobile phone usage, the negative consequences of mobile phone is more than the positive consequences on the youth’s academic performance. In social interaction aspect, the respondents change their behaviors and the way they react their friends and family after getting use to in the digital era. In terms of emotional health, mobile phone has negative consequences on younger generation’s emotional conditions.</dc:description>
