          <dc:title>A Comparative Study on Community Socioeconomic Status Before and After Initiating Nationwide Ceasefire Agreement Peace Process ( Kyaikmaraw Township) ( Aung Thant Tin, 2022)</dc:title>

          <dc:description>The purpose of this study is to identify community socioeconomic
improvements and make a comparative study upon community socioeconomic status
in Kyaikmaraw Township before and after initiating the (NCA) peace process.
Method of study is descriptive method, based on primary data and secondary data.
Primary data are collected using structured questionnaire from randomly selected 240
respondents. Multistage sampling method was used in selection the township, wards
and village tracts, the respondents and the survey was conducted on the 240 residents.
The study reveals that although community in this region is not fully beneficial yet,
some social and economic impacts are gained because of NCA. Furthermore, the
study has shown infrastructure expansion, upgrading improvements in provided
services and facilities and positive changes especially in education and health sectors,
in these years after initiating NCA process compared to the pre-NCA periods, but
there was no significant fact in income and employment growth of the community. It
was found that local community are still concerned about any armed forces.</dc:description>
