Lam" Phyo Phyo Soe San Thidar Oo Aye Thandar Phyo In the study, the pathogenic fungi were isolated from the long storage edible tuberous root ofIpomoea batatas (L.) Lam. (Sweet potato). These tuberous roots were collected from September to December at Magway Township, Magway Region. In this investigation, three different kinds of pathogenic fungi were isolated from the tuberous roots of sweet potato onto the sterile growth medium (MEA). And then the macroscopic and microscopic characters of pathogenic fungi have been undertaken.
