Using the Words in Conjunction with Archaisms Soe Soe Naing The purpose of this paper is to know the origins of some Myanmar archaisms and to use these archaic words and phrases correctly and appropriately. In the study of the origins and development of words, they are studied under the basic rules and principles of etymology. The first phase of this paper involves the nature and means of etymology. The second phase involves the archaisms of some colloquialisms that are faded away.
