<dc:title>NUMERICAL STUDY OF SEDIMENT TRANSPORT IN YANGON RIVER AND ESTUARY</dc:title>
          <dc:creator>Toe Toe Aung</dc:creator>
<dc:description>The aim of this paper is to clarify the basic mechanism of sediment transport in Yangon River, Myanmar. Two dimensional numerical model is used to predict the water flow and sediment transport. The models for the flow and sediment transport are described in this paper. The water depth, velocity, sediment concentration and the bed level change were calculated for 4 cases near the “Inner Bar” area. Distribution of flow velocities and the sediment concentration are verified against field data of Nelson (1990)</dc:description>
