The Term “Pāragū” in the Buddhist Scriptures Theingi Cho Abstract The term “Pāragū” is a Pāḷi word, and it means “one who attains the other bank called Nibbāna”. In Pāḷi Texts, the six types of “Pāragū” are mentioned. The Buddha is “the Pāragū of the complete Dhamma”. An Arhat is a “Pāragū”.
