A Framework of Handwritten Myanmar Digits and Characters Recognition by Using Backpropagation Neural Network Hlaing May Tin This paper describes a framework for recognizing the handwritten Myanmar digits and characters with the help of multilayer feedforward neural network by using backpropagation algorithm. Supervised learning is used in this system. First the network is trained with several handwritings form of Myanmar digits and characters from various person and then recognized the tested new handwritings of those Myanmar digits and characters.
