Context Free Grammar Based Top-Down Parsing of Myanmar Sentences Win Win Thant Tin Myat Htwe Ni Lar Thein Parsing is important in Linguistics and Natural Language processing to understand the syntax and semantics of a natural language grammar. Writing the grammar production for Myanmar language is bit difficult because Myanmar is a relatively free word order, morphologically rich and agglutinative language and has a strong case marking system. This paper presents a context free grammar (CFG) based top-down parsing for Myanmar sentences which is the output of function tagging system. We use the function tags that are proposed in our previous function tagging method for producing the grammar rules.
